A tag game where everybodies it once they are tagged tey must stand still no one can free them.

Fun Invasion Game5 mins

Split group in half. One group puts ball between legs and moves around ,the other tries to knock the ball out of their legs whilst hopping on one leg. If a player knock the ball out they then swap over.

Players are in pairs, share one ball, one player puts their hand on top and below the ball whilst the other puts his/hers on the side of the ball. On the coaches whilstle they then wrestle for the ball.

Shielding the Ball10 mins

In pairs players practice shielding the ball, they defender puts weight on the attacking player, they cannot tackle the ball they just apply pressure.

Players use their hands to feel where the defender is whilst using their hips to protect the ball. Swap every 30 seconds.

Coaching points:

-Side on with an open stance

-Knees bent for low centre of gravity

-Arm out to keep defender at arms length at all times

Players can move around the area whilst dribbling,still can't tackle.
