Progression

Players on the Outside will make a run into the centre, the ball will be played into the middle and it's a set back to the player who plays the initial pass and then the ball will be played long to the other side.

Attack V Defence

Blue's will look to attack using the wide players and working the ball towards the box for the cutbacks.

KEY POINTS


9- Look to pin the ball side defender

stay within the 6 yard box
look to make double movements to create space

7&11- keep wide

attack the fullback 

look to combine with ballside midfielder to create 2 v 1

quality balls in the box 

arrive at far post if ball is on opposite sides

8 & 10- look to offer winger support

look to switch play if we can

get forwards into the box 

can we make 3rd man runs to create space

4- stay on the edge for the cut back or if it breaks down you can apply pressure

look to help us switch play 

look to stop the counters.
