Thisis a One-hour game-based session plan. The purpose of the session is to set upopportunities for players to run with the ball in a purposeful manner.
Playerswould have to decide when, where, how, and why to run with the ball. Thesession starts with an arrival activity, so the players can get going whilewaiting for other arrivals and for coaches to set up the session.
The sessionincludes a physical literacy warm-up and two games based on the session theme.

Arrival Activity (10 mins)
The main field setup is a 25/35yrds field which will be used for the final game. Each other activity and game can be set up within this area with minimal cones required. When moving from one activity/game to the next, moving goals and some cones are required.
Setup
1 x 25/35yrds field and 2 nets on each end. It is ok to start with a smaller field and make it bigger as the players arrive.

Jail Game ( 10 mins)
The attacking player must runthrough the gate without being tagged by the defender in jail. If the attackingplayer is tagged, they go to jail, and the defender leaves jail.
Progressions
Add a Soccer ball: The attackingplayer looks to RWB through the gate without being tackled.
Add a time limit for the attackingplayer to get through the gate (5 to 7 seconds)
Setup
2 x gates 8yrds apart with a starting cone 10 yards from the gate.Setup so players run through one gate and arrive at the start of the secondgate

Goal Gates Game (20 Minutes)
4 x Teams of 2 to 4 players.If there are uneven numbers, teams can play with overloads 3v2, 4v3
To score a goal, one player from theteam must RWB through a gate.
The game can be one-directional ortwo-directional
Progression
Add a time limit and point system.

RWB into through a gate = 1 Point

1 x 25/35yrds field. Within this 2 x 20/25yrds fields going across thewidth. Four x gates per field, 3yrds wide

Final Game (20 mins)
2 x Teams, 3v3/4v4/5v5 or adaptbased on numbers
Normal game, no coaching points orstoppages. If coaching is required, limit information and allow for lots of ballrolling time.
Scenario (Optional)
World Cup Semi-final, teams choosetheir country's name.
