Organisation
Organisation - Boys are split into 3 groups of 4 or 5.
Blues & Blues - Work on breaking the lines with passes through
the middle - try not to hot the middle players
Reds - Dribbling in the middle - try to get in the way of passes
Focus on:
1. passing technique;
2. Communication;
3. Finding the gap

Organisation - Teams now try to play through each other and
look after the ball. Possession based drill.
Each time the ball is played through 1 goal. Play first to 3,5 or 10
depending on the group.
Organisation - Boys split into 2 teams of 6. Each team begins
with a ball.
Boys work on playing passes between the opposite team. If they
can't play forwards keep the ball moving in their zone until a gap
appears to play forwards.
- Play the game with head up as much as possible to help make
quicker decisions
- Be patient
- Out of possession - Try to take up better positions to support

Organisation
Organisation - players - 8v8+1 neutral who plays for the team in
possession. Play starts from the GK, who must play into defensive
3rd.
Focus : Support Play and penetration passes
Objective : Each team trys to score in opponents goal whilst
playing the ball through each 3rd.
Attacking team have the freedom to move an extra player into the
middle third to create 5v3
When the ball gets into the attacking third a midfielder can move
up to create 3v2 in attack.
If Defenders gain possession : they become the attackers & roles
are reversed.
Make sure defenders defend properly & make attackers work
to get out.
Coaching Points -
- Be patient in thirds - use overload to work the ball forwards
- Spread out , can the ball see you ? exploit overload's
- Triggers of movement - when, how , why ?
- Recognise opportunities to move forward with the ball or Pass forwards quickly
- Type of pass - Feet or space ?
