Organization: 40*30 grid (two set ups). Two small goals. Supply of balls beside each goal.
Activity: Regular 4v4 or 5v5 game (with or without GKs). Adjust according to numbers. Only condition is that attackers must go to goal or shoot on goal within 5 passes of gaining possession. Reward a goal with possession from the team's GK. Restarts are always with GK of the team that did not lose the ball.
Progression:
Allow for a few more passes (eg. 10) but goals count for double. Allows for quick but more purposeful build up.
Coaching Points:
1. Dispersal - create width in attack.
2. Positive touch forward. Open body position - receive on back foot.
3. Movement into space.
4. Speed of play & awareness.
5. Quality & message of the pass.

Organization: 30*40 grid with two large goals and four mini goals (two on each end line). Supply of balls on each end line. Two set ups.
Activity: 5v5 (with GKs) game with modified LOTG (no corners, kick-ins). Adjust according to numbers. All restarts with the GK. Each team defends three goals. Scoring: A regular goal is worth double. Eg. wide goals = 1; central goals = 2. Reward a goal with instant possession from own end/GK.
Progression(s):
1. Add wide channels into which players can move freely and unopposed. Make the game 6v6.
2. Remove small goals.
Coaching Points:
1. Quick dispersal - support the play and get options forward quickly.
2. Speed of play - first touch / first look forward. Take advantage of the defenders being disorganized.
3. Ways of penetrating: i) dribble ii) combining with teammates iii) playing a pass in behind (through, around, over).
4. 360 support of the ball (near and far support).
5. Quality of the pass - weight and accuracy.
6. Awareness - where are the defenders, where is open space?

Organization: 50*40 field (cross field). Supply of balls along the outside and in the goals.
Activity: 9v9 SSG. Each team plays 1-3-2-3. LOTG apply, including retreat line. Perhaps some coaching over, but otherwise allow for free play.
Coaching Points: Reinforce key factors and objectives from the session.

Organization: 10*10 grids (multiple). 4 players, 2 balls per grid.
Activity: Start with dynamic movement. Balls start with players on opposite corners. Player with the ball passes to his left, receives back and plays to his right. Process repeats.
Progression:
Move one player into the middle. Play 3v1 possession.
Coaching Points:
1. Awareness - head up; know where to go or how to set up prior to receiving the ball.
2. Quality of the pass - weight and accuracy.
3. First touch - positive and in the direction you want to go.
4. Keep good spacing (for progression to possession rondo).
