Structure:
20x20 grid with 4 goals. 2 teams of 3.
Zones:
Training load: moderate to high 3 sets of 2 min with 1 min rest
Strategy:
Defend in groups of 3. Defend in a triangle. The point guides the press, the closest def press ball other defenders cover and balance. looking to switch off and prevent switch
Key Factors:
Defending as a unit. Looking to cut off path towards net. Speed and angle of approach. Constant communication. Looking to delay the attack with Pressure, cover, balance
Looking to cur off the space quickly. Pressing on cues= bad pass, while ball is moving or in air.
Tactics:
1) When outside attacker receives ball, closest DF should have already Pressed and cut of space towards goal. 2nd defender to Balance space in central channel. 3rd def balances
2) As ball is switched to opposite side, DEF must pivot and the 2nd DEF now becomes 1st DEF
3) DEF must coordinate movements with each other.
In Possession: DEF looking to play combos quickly to around defenders to score
Progressions:
the number of passes created before scoring, leads to goals. you team makes 5 passes before the goal, the goal is worth 5 points.
Limit touches of attacking team to score.

Organization:
3 groups: A,B,C and a Goalkeeper. Players combine to finish. Players must follow their pass.
Key Factors:
Quality Passing with intensity and accuracy
Striking the ball one touch - Work on feeling the ball with part of foot

Organization:
25 yards x full width of gym. 3 attackers vs 2 defenders. Coach to play ball to any one of 3 attackers. The attackers must make 2 passes between each other before they can enter the space and attack on goal. As the coach plays the ball in, the defenders must press and cover space with their runs and adapt to the passing before attackers attack toward goal. When defenders will the ball, they are looking to score on the two small nets.
Key Factors:
Pressure Cover, balance.
Speed of approach, angle of approach
Timing the switch off
Body between OPP and goal
Progressions:
Add 3rd defender like a CM to cut space in the middle
Have attacking players shoot from distance
