Passing Grids - 10mins
Grid - 20 Yards in Length and 15 Yards Wide
3 Groups of 7 Players
Player 1 passes to Player 2 who moves off the cone to receive the pass
Player 2 opens body and plays a pass to Player 3 who moves off the cone to receive the pass
Player 3 plays a pass to Player 4 who moves off the cone to receive the pass, open her body and play to Player 5
Players follow their pass all the time.
Progress to players all playing on 1 touch
Progress to players play a 1-2 pass at 2nd cone and then player 2 does an overlap to get a pass from player 3

Pattern 1 - Full Back Underlap Run
Two Centre Backs play a pass to each other to start the phase, Centre back then plays a pass into deep midfielder.
Deep midfielder plays to advanced midfielder who lays ball off to full back on their side, The full back then plays inside to opposite advanced midfielder who lays off for deep midfielder who plays a pass for winger who is making the pitch as wide as possible.
Once that pass is played the full back then makes a underlap run towards the box and the winger lays ball off for her first time.
Full back then looking to get to the back line and deliver low cross along the 6 yard are for striker attacking front post, No 10 arriving on penalty spot area, Opposite winger arriving at the back post and No 8 arriving on the edge of the 18 yard box.
Rotate the 3 midfielders so no 6 not always sitting, Next pattern goes down the opposite wing (Repeat 2 or 3 times on each side)
(Swap the full backs with the wingers for recovery)
(Progress to after centre backs play pass into midfield they must then sprint to the penalty area to defend the cross)

Pattern 2 - Midfielder (8 or 10) Underlap Run
Two Centre Backs play a pass to each other to start the phase, Centre back then plays a pass to full back on her side.
Full back plays inside to advanced midfielder (8 or 10), They then lay the ball off for our No 6 who plays a pass wide to the winger.
Once that pass is played the advanced midfielder closest to the winger makes an underlap run towards the box between the poles and the winger lays ball off for her first time.
Midfielder then looking to either shoot across goal or deliver low cross along the 6 yard are for striker attacking front post, No 10 arriving on penalty spot area and Opposite winger arriving at the back post.
Rotate the 3 midfielders so no 6 not always sitting, Next pattern goes down the opposite wing (Repeat 2 or 3 times on each side)

Pattern 3 - Full Backs - Overlapping Run
Two Centre Backs play a pass to each other to start the phase, Centre back then plays a pass into deep midfielder.
Deep midfielder start by playing a 1-2 with one of the advanced midfielders (8 or 10).Deep midfielder then plays a pass for winger on that side who has come inside creating space for our full back
Winger lays the ball off first time for nearest midfielder who then plays a pass between the poles for our full back on that side to deliver a cross.
Centre forward attacks the front post area, midfielder who plays the pass to the full back makes a run to the penalty spot area, Opps winger attacks the back post area.
Rotate the 3 midfielders so no 6 not always sitting, Next pattern goes down the opposite wing (Repeat 2 or 3 times on each side)

SAQ Stations - 10mins
Station 1 - Player Starts at blue cone, Passes the ball to a coach and then goes through the ladder 2 feet in each space.
She then collects the ball back from the coach and dribbles through the yellow poles to then accelerate towards the red cone.
She then walks back from the red cone to the blue cone to repeat the exercise x 6 times.
Station 2 - Player starts at the middle cone with the ball at her feet, The next player in the group on the outside calls 3 colours to which the inside player with the ball at her feet must dribble around them 3 cones while returning to the middle cone after each one.
Once completed she then dribbles out of the square through the cones on her left side and joins the back of the group on the far side of the pitch.
Each player completes 6 Reps
