Block 2:
The blue midfielder stays tight to the wide player of the diamond, denying any space to turn. Additionally, the other blue midfielder is closely marking the 10, restricting passing options.
Solution:
The wide player of the diamond plays a first-time pass into the CDM.
The CDM can then look to play the ball into the striker's feet, who can subsequently pass into the advancing 10.
Key Focus: Emphasize the importance of transition if possession is lost centrally, ensuring quick reorganization and defensive response.

Block 3:
The 10 is staying tight to the CDM, limiting options.
Solution:
The CDM drops off to pull the 10 away, creating space for the RCM to rotate centrally.
If the RCM engages the 10, it may create a 3v2 situation higher up the pitch, opening space for an attacking move.
Alternative Response: If the CDM is marked by the striker, recycle the ball and switch play to the opposite side to maintain attacking options.

Block 1
Block 1:
Play Starts: Pass to the side of the diamond, initiating a double movement to create space.
Striker Movement: The two centre forwards should position themselves on the outside shoulder of the centre-backs.
The trigger for the forwards to split wider is when the wide player of the diamond receives the ball with a good first touch and faces forward.
This creates space for the Number 10 and pulls the centre-backs out of Zone 14, opening up space for central penetration.
What if the striker's press prevents the pass into the wide player of the diamond?
Solution: In this case, pass to the CDM, Centre-Back (CB), or Goalkeeper (GK) for retention. Alternatively, switch the ball over to one of the strikers to reset the attack.
