Competitive, in groups have a defender against no more than 4 attackers. Defenders job is to close the bal down, if successful knocks it out into touch and player who loses possession does a forefit, switch defenders ave a coupe of go's each.(ie start jumps under 9's)
Key points: Look for space, play easy ball, once released the ball move to next opening.
Progression: 2 touch.
Progression 2: Using the cones as goals in corperate the other defender aswell so its 3 V 2. Attackers job is to pass and move into the set goals to earn a point. Defenders can also try this.
Key point: Dont stand still always keep moving and looking for the space to run into to receive the ball.

4 V 4 (+ keepers)with conditions.
Using the halfway line as a boundry point. One striker is allowed in each half but not allowed in their own halfs and other players arent allowed to cross boundry just pass it to forwards. Idea is playing from the back and to keep possession through short passing.
Progression: Set a minimum pass amount. ie 5 passes before alowed to play the ball through to the striker.
Progression 2: Once played 5 passes player who plays the ball to his striker in opposition half can run in for support.
Key points. Create space, have head up, look for space, anticipate defenders whereabouts. Look to pass short, dont stand still.

Warm up: To get used to the ball in an area of 20 X 20 give half the players balls.
Instructions: Keep moving, once passed the ball look for the next pass.
Key Points: Head up, look for space, what pass is on? Where to next?
Progression: Incorporate player communication. " One, Two" "Turn". This encourages the payers to give instructions to team mate, if a player is directly behind them "one, two" would be more appropriate, this encourages players to judge what is around them.
