Organization: 8/10 min 20x25m Area
Set up: Cones, balls, Pug Nets,
Activity: Shoot & Recover - Each Player with a ball, The first player in line goes at the same time when coach says go!. players look to drive down the field cut in and have a shot. The Orange cones represent a scoring zone. (Inside the scoring zone look to place, side of the foot) outside the scoring zone Striking the ball with Laces. Once the player shoots the ball they must run back and High five the next player. The team that scores the most goals and finishes wins!
Progression: Players that soot first look to recover and close down the player looking to score. If they win the ball, they look to score on the opposite Goal. Adjust distance to allow more or less success.
Coaching Points: look to get down the field as quickly as possible (positve first touch) Striking Technique ( distance/Placement)

Organization: 18x 20m Big Goal, Cones, bibs, balls
Activity: 1 v 1 Defender (red) looks to play into Blue (Attacker)
The Attacker look to take on the defender, create space and score
(must be passed scoring marker) If the defender wins the ball they must look to dribble passed the last cone to receive a point. Set up two Orange cones inside of the goal post if players score in the corners they receive and extra point.
After all the attackers have a turn they switch roles with the defenders.
Progression: Put a time limit 10/15 sec to score , expand field size for less challenging) decrease field size for challenge.
Coaching Points: can we create space/beat player for an opportunity to shoot.
Striking/Finishing Technique (from distance/placement)

Organization: 25x 25m Field, balls, cones, bibs, nets.
Activity: 2v1
Procedure: Create two teams Defenders( blue) look to play in to one of the red players (If Player cant play the ball in the coach can) As the defender plays the ball the two reds players look to attack the goal. The win Defender looks to win the ball.
Attacking player look to draw the defender to them and must make a decision. Do they look to beat the defender or look to pass to their team mate.
If the Defender wins the ball they look to dribble passed the orange cones to get a point. Once red have gone through (all Players) They switch and become the defenders.
Coaching Points: Striking/finishing Technique
Decision making (when to pass, when to look to shoot)
Progression: More Challenging create a 2v2 Less Challenging 3v1

Striking the Ball (unopposed) (10 mins)
Organization: 8/10 min 20m x 20m Cones, Balls,
Activity: Striking the ball: Put Players in Pairs with a ball,( match players to ability)
Place a ball on a cone, and have a player face their partner with a ball. Players role the ball through their gate and look to strike the ball. Players take turns at striking the ball.
If players knock the ball off the cone they get a point.
(maybe more points if they hit with laces from distance)
Progression: Change Feet, (left, right) Increase Distance.
Less Challenging : decrease Distance
Coaching Points: Technical - Striking the ball - attack the ball with speed, Angle of Approach, Head down/eye on Ball Part of the foot (Laces for distance power) inside for placement, Part of the ball (mid Center)
