Transiton 1 v 1 Dribbling
- Blue player looks to play into the blue attacker who plays 1 v 1 trying to break out square and score at goal.
- If Red defender wins it can they dribble out square and get it to a wide red player.
Transition Element
Red wide player must dribble/drive into the square and break out before the recovering blue player can get back to tackle.

3 V 2 Break out Game
- Blues play 3 v 2 in square if RED wins it they break out and play 1 v 1 with last defender
- REDS work hard to win it back
- Coach plays 2nd ball in to blues so they play 3 v 1 whilst 1 v 1 is happening
Engage last defender to follow the ball and stay in line whilst blues are passing.
- Use drive bys and individual feedback rather than stopping whole group.
- Body shape of last defender
- Force away from goal into wide areas.
- Make defender recognise speed of attacker do they need to drop and delay or can they press and step in.
- allow the defender to make a decision can they steal it
Progression
Can defender win it and dribble through one of the side goals to score.

3 v 3 1 v 1 part practice/ dribbling game
Start off by doing one scenario at a time e.g. left wide player receives 1st looks to beat player and cross to striker. Only 1 defender active to start with progress into a 3 v 3 game with blues having to dribble through gates to score.
- Red look to receive the ball from coach (Black)
- 1 v 1 in different areas of pitch wide and central areas
- 2 wide players 1 central player

reds can move freely in the area blues locked into areas.
