Purposeful Play:
Each team tries to possess the ball (with hands or feet). When a team gets 5 consecutive passes they earn a 'safe choice’ – which can be represented by a cone or other object - and they shout a different safe choice each time they succeed.
Teams can come up with strategies to earn more ‘safe choices’ throughout the game.
Challenge them to come up with choices specific to gender-based violence prevention.
Purposeful Questions While They Are Playing - Ask Questions and Listen to Answers:
What do you have to do to gain ‘safe choices’?
What are the safe choices you have named so far?
Are these choices often made in your community? Why or why not?
What do you need to make more of these choices in your lives?

Be imaginative. Try your own variations and progressions!
Purposeful Questions After the Game - Ask Questions and Listen to Answers:
How can we become active citizens and support others to overcome obstacles to safety?
Be imaginative. Try your own questions and encourage the group to ask their own questions.
