Setup:
Three 10x10 grids side by side
4 teams of 4
Activity:
Attacking team must complete 3 passes in grid before trying to switch play through central zone where it's 2v1.
Pass into far zone teammate MUST come from central grid.
1 point for each time successfully get ball from wide grid to wide grid AND back.
Coaching Points:
~ Use of space/combos/dribble when in 3v1 to maintain possession
~ Once trying to switch, can I play early ball (easiest)?
~ On switch, using the dribble to move the defender for a pass

A) 3->8->3->6

Coaching Points:
~ Opposite movement before checking to ball
~ Playing into the correct foot

Setup:
Two 25x20 grids separated by 12x25
3 teams of 6
Attacking teams play 5v3 in wide zone with 6th player in middle zone for linking play.
Activity:
Only defensive team can score:
3 points for a goal in pugg
1 point for getting ball into central zone
Other teams combine to keep possession and move ball side to side to keep defense from scoring.
Attacking team allowed to send in ONE extra player into central box to help switch happen.
Coaching Points:
~ Use of central player to link the switch
~ Central player moving to see ball and next pass OR
~ Central player checking to ball to lay off to player facing forward

Setup:
Half field
10 players in 4-3-3 formation
Activity:
Players move ball around with no defenders. After good ball movement they try to create one of the patterns:
1) Outside back plays wing and overlaps; Winger plays outside back into space for cross
1a) Outside back plays wing and overlaps; Winger plays into CM who plays into back for cross (see diagram)
After each shot, players sprint to press the player position that the coach calls out ("#2" would mean they sprint to the right back as if to press)
Coaching Points:
~ Timing of movement
~ #7/11 losing marker
~ #8/10 timing, angle and distance of showing inside
~ Runs in the box -- move opposite the ball

2) 3 touch - 2 touches forward + pass, receive going backwards (maintain same distance between)
