Organisation:
- Set up as shown in the diagram, 7v7+3, 3 pinks play with team in possession and remain on either end and in the middle zone
- Three zones 20mx12mx20m
- Ball begins with pink player on end zone and played into team in possession, in this case its the Yellow team
- Once first pass is played Blue team is allowed to press and win the ball.
- Blue team look to regain the ball in the Yellow teams building zone, if they cannot do this they look to maintain possession to then score in the mini goals
- Yellow team then look to counter press
- If defensive team regains the ball in the building zone and scores in the mini goals that equals 3 goals, if defensive team regains possession in the middle zone and scores in the mini goals that equals 2 goals and if the defensive team wins the ball in their building zone and scores a goal it equals 1 goal
- If the team in possession scores a goal from their building zone that equals 3 goals
Coaching Points:
- Team in possession to build up play through the thirds
- Breaking lines of pressure
- Quick combination play
- Attacking runs and third man options
- Look to play vertically where possible
- Team that is defending should look to high press and be on the front foot
- Counterpress situations
- Rest defence
- Transition to play forward
Progressions:
- Replace mini goals with Keepers and large goals
- Lift restrictions on neutral player in the middle zone to be able to roam between zones and create overloads

- Blue team is in possession in this instance
- They numbers indicate where play will begin at those stations, balls will be place there
- Team in possession has 6 seconds to realign and restart at those stations, which will be on the coaches call, this should then give different triggers for pressing and counter pressing for the defending team
- Team in possession score in the mini goals and defending team score in the large goal. If pressing team score in the large goal it equals 3 goals, if team in possession score in the mini goal it equals 1 goal
