Organization:
1 - six players (2 GK's, 1 defender, 3 attackers).
2 - one ball (additional on the outside).
3 - two big goals & two small goals.
4 - 30 by 20 yard area with 10 by 15 yard area inside.
Instructions:
1 - Players play small sided 3 v 1 inside grid.
2 - Attackers keep away from defender inside grid.The attackers decide which point to dribble out of the grid and shoot on the GK's.
3 - Attacker that has the ball decides which GK to shoot at
4 - If defender wins the ball, they can shoot and score at two small goals while staying inside grid.
5 - Attacker scores on GK's-1 point, Defender scores on small goals-2 points
6 - Play for 45 seconds before rotating players. Keep track of score to make competitive.
Coaching Points/Questions:
1 - select appropriate surface, lock ankle, strike middle of the ball.
2 - How can we decide what technique to use to finish?
3 - head up.
4 - small touch to the outside of your body before shooting (prep touch).
Regressions:
1 - Increase size of the area.

Organization:
1 - Remove zone from middle of the field and play 3 v 2. Attacking team can score in either goal with GK's, defending team can score in small goals.

1 - Play 3 v 3 with two balls at the same time. Teams can score in any goal that isn't already being used to shoot on. Players can only shoot on small pug goals if they intercept ball from opposing team.

1 - two teams of 10 players (5 v 5 with GK's).
2 - two big goals.
3 - one ball (additional on the outside).
4 - 30 by 30 yard area.
Instructions:
1 - Players play normal 5 v 5 small sided game with GK's.
2 - Award points for different types of finishing-inside(1 point), driven (2 points), poke (3 points), chip (5 points).
3 - Games run 2 minutes long. Rotate players and teams.
4 - Keep score so as to make competitive.

2 - How can we unbalance defenders to allow for breakaways to happen?
3 - How do I know what technique to use?

5 - Praise poise under pressure and finishing.

Organization:

Introduction (10 mins)
Organization:
1 - 12 players ( two teams of 6).
2 - 1 ball per player.
3 - 1 cone in center of grid.
4 - 20 by 20 yard area.
5 - 4 pug goals.
Instructions:
1 - On coaches command, players begin to dribble out towards middle cone.
2 - Players then decide at what point to finish with a shot on goal on opposite side once at middle cone.
3 - After shooting, players must then finish at the opposite side of the field.
4 - Award points for every shot scored.
5 - Play for set time period before rotating groups to shoot from different angles.
6 - Remember to keep track of points to create competitive environment.
Coaching Points/Questions:
1 - select appropriate surface, lock ankle, strike middle of the ball.
2 - How do I know what technique to use to shoot?
3 - Where would my foot make contact on the ball and why?
4 - head up to be aware of distance to keeper/goal.
5 - Why do we execute prep touches before shooting?
