Organisation
- Three teams of three - red team pressing from the central zone.
- Split the playing are into three zones.
- One ball in play.

How it works
- The teams on the outer zone attempt to keep the ball awayfrom
the team in the centre.
- The team in the central zone press and tryto win the ball.
- One red player must stayin the central zone.
- The outer players must make a minimum of three passes before
switching the ball to the other end.
- Once the attempt to switch the ball, they will become the
defensive team.

Key coaching points for the red team
- Protect the middle - press when the ball is in transition to or from
the wide player.
- Maintain your shape.
- Force them wide.
- Don't get split (pass through the middle)
- Angle the line across the field and leave the furthest player.

- Width & depth.
- Quality of pass.
- Combinations.
- Speed of play.

Conditions
- Restrict the players to playing through, around or over. Theycan onlyswitch using one.
- Time limit to switch.

Targets
- Can the defending team win the ball in 10 seconds?
- Can the team in possession switch playin less than 10 seconds?

- Playin two touches (control & pass).
- Transition in less than sixseconds.

- Allow all three players to go and press (removing the central zone) this will allow you to see if the team maintain their shape.
