- player at cone 3 lays off into space for player at cone 2 to spin into and bend a shot at goal
- continuous rotation: 1 to 2 , 2 to 3 , 3 joins queue of remaining players at 1 on opposite side
Coaching Points

game related practice(10)
Organizational / Instructions
- 8v5 overload possession in middle third of the pitch
- aim is to achieve 3 passes within the middle third before playing a first time pass into player in either end zone
- player in end zone then must lay off first time if possible to a runner from the middle third for a first time shot at goal
- 2 runners are allowed and 1 defender is allowed to track back for the defending 3
- defending 3 will switch after a period of time until everyone has defended once
- all balls will start and be fed in from the side of the pitch
Coaching Points
- after a minimum of 3 passes are made it must be a first time pass to end zone
- although we want to get into end zone quick be patient with passing .don't rush it , take more than 3 passes if needed
- willing supporting runners off the player in end zone to get first time shot away
- knowing what type of finish is needed depending on lay off and where you are
- reiterate coaching points from technical practice
- making sure the end zone players are not standing still and are moving in relation to where the ball is and making angles to recieve a pass
Progressions / Adaptations
1- player in end zone switches with whoever has the shot at goal [ continuous ]
2- take away the overload so it then becomes 7v7 in middle third with a player from each team in each end zone so it becomes a directional game with one team going one way and other team going the other way
