Instructions:
Players perform various speed, agility and quickness manuevers to improve coordination and reactions.

Goals:
To give a better understanding of both attacking and defensive positioning for goal kicks.
Set Up:
30 X 40 pitch with 3 goals as shown
Split players into red and blue
Instructions:
Ball starts with the GK. Red builds to score in small goals while if blue defending team wins the ball they attempt to score on big goal. Blue has no keepers.
Progression:
Add more defenders and/or attackers to add pressure
Only allow 2 touch - forces passes
Blues have 30 seconds to win ball or red goal
Team Tactical Principles:
1. Spread out
2. Create triangles and passing lanes
3. Pass or dribble forward when possible to keep possession - decisions
4. Create support angle
5. Diagonal passing angles
6. Goalkeeping start - 2,3,6 tactic
Coaching Points:
1. Weight of pass
2. Appropriate body shape to recieve pass - First touch
3. Pulling out to find space
4. Dribble or pass-Decision

Goal:
To get the keeper actively looking for an open player, to get the 2,3 to understand to get wide, and to get a good first touch from a passes/thrown ball.
Set Up:
8x8
1 Ball
1 Goalkeeper
3 Players
Instructions:
Defender can close down but not tackle
Players on outside can take 2 touches max.
Rounds go for one minute then switch
Goalkeeper can use hands or feet
Progression:
One touch passing.
Goalkeeper can only use hands when starting with ball.
Coaching Points:
2 and 3 need to get in good supportive positions (spread play)
6 becomes available if red pulled out to mark 2 or 3
