Playing Through The Thirds Match
Split the pitch into thirds, play 2v2 in the midfield area and 2 defenders vs 1 attacker, This is to creat more 1v1 scinarios.
Progression
When the atacking team have the ball allow 1 player from each zone into another zone to create overloads, so the midfield becomes 3v2 and the attck becomes a 2v2, Remove restrictions until it becomes a normal game.
Coaching Points
Encourage players to pass into the other zone and then follow their pass or fill in for another player whos vacted the zone. Try to encourage them to play forward when possible change rules if your not getting what you want.

Rules
Players pass or dribble in if the ball goes out of play, players retreat to halfway but you can get them to go back and touch their goal, the first one back can press this will ensure roles within the team change natrualy througout the game.
