Organization: 2 lines of players behind blue cones. 1 ball per player. 1 goal.
Instructions: first player in each line dribble at outside cone simultaneously. Head up to see target and shoot with laces or place with inside of foot. Switch lines after shot.
Coaching Points:

Progressions: 1. Dribble and shoot - no goalkeeper. 2. Coach plays goalkeeper. Place cones in between center of goal and post and play a game. 1 point for a goal, 2 points for a goal between cone and post.

Organization:
1.Penalty area, set up as shown
2.Two 10 x 10 yard areas set up as ‘Jails’
3.2 equal teams and 1 goalkeeper

5.Lots of balls with coach
Description:
1.The teams take it in turn to shoot at the goal
2.The Coach serves two soccer balls into area, one fast and one slow
3.The shooter must strike both balls first time
4.If they miss both shots they go straight to jail
5.If they miss one they must perform a goal celebration to keep themselves out of jail
6.If they score both then they can either free a team member from jail or select an opposition player to go to jail (who is there danger player???)
7.The game is over when all players from one team are jailed
8.Teams should rotate sides after every game
Coaching Points:
1.Angle of approach to the ball
2.Selecting appropriate surface to strike with
3.Head up to observe position of GK
4.Head down at point of contact
5.Ankle locked, toe down
6.Follow through to land on striking foot
Progression:
1. The Coach serves one ball on floor and one ball in the air
2. Both shots are made inside the penalty spot

Conditioned Game - 4V4 With 2 Support Players On Line - 10 Minutes
Equipment
-7 Same coloured bibs
-1 Extra bib if un-even numbers for floater
-Supply of balls with coach just outside area
Actions Pre Drill
-Split teams in half with bibs
-Select goalkeeper for each team
-Put two players on each goalline
Instructions
-Game is played 4 v 4 on half pitch
- Score inside the red box= 3 pts
-Beyond=1 pt
Progressions
-End player limited to 1/2 touches
-Player who makes pass then has a 1 touch finish
Coaching Points:
-If stuck with an odd number make a neutral player
-Accuracy and weight of pass to end players
-Movement to get into shooting position
-Accuracy when shooting
-Awareness of teammate’s movement/communication

Warm up- Driven Shot (10 mins)
Technical Shooting Practice
Organization: 1 channel= 16x8 yd. Blue cones 8 yd apart and 8 yd from tall cone. 1 ball per pair.
Instructions:
Players keep in the same pairs, set up like above, 1 ball between 2.
Players are shooting their ball through the 2 tall cones and to their partner on the other side, they will then repat for 5 minutes varying the distance they shoot.
Coaching Points:
1. Players approach the ball from the side
2. Non kicking foot is pointed at the target
3. Players are looking to use their laces, toe should be pointing down
4. Players strike the middle of the ball, watch their foot hit the ball
5. Players kicking foot should follow through to the target
Progressions:
1) Bring in a ball on a cone acting as a goalkeeper
2) Change partners
3) Indtroduce a goalkeeper
Play for 20 Minutes
