Receiving Technical Practice

To demonstrate ways to receive the ball in different directions using different parts of your foot.

Feeders on the outside of the area roll/kick the ball to the players in the middle who look to turn with the ball through a gate and pass to someone else on the outside who hasnt got a ball. Once they have passed the ball they will look for another feeder on the outside to get the ball from and repeat.

If the red players have a ball, they will perform sole taps, sideways roll and side to sides (shuffles) until a blue player asks for the ball

Rotate positions after 2 minutes.

Can the players get in a gate to receive on the turn

Can the players perform a no touch turn (stand in front of a gate and let the ball roll across your body)
