Our objective here is to allow the opposition team to start to play out from the back. Once we win the ball there should be plenty of room infront of us to counter attack into. The lines on the field represent the individual responsibilities of the players involved in the press. The decision to press the different players depends where the ball is on the field and who has possesion.
If possesion is lost by us, we will retreat into this shape and will not press the back line until they cross the lines of scrimmage. The lime green field line represents the line of scrimmage and the shaded area on the field is where we could ideally win the ball back.

Red Lines represent the runs and the individual reponsibilities of each player involved in the press. Shaded area is the area on the field that we would like to attempt to win back the ball.
Back three will hold their line, unless their individual Mark makes a movement to receive the ball.

High Pressure principles:
Our Width is basically the 18's
Keep our lines tight to limit the short play option forcing our opponent to play long.
Red lines focus on connections, intercepting the ball as it travels.
Blue lines pressure the ball receivers.
GK plays out of our 18s and will cut any trough balls in the back of our defenders.

Our Objective here is to fully allow the opposition to step up into our end so that we can win the ball and hit them on the counter attack. The Line of Scrimmage is set by whichever striker is on the side of the ball.
Hopefully we can win the ball back just inside our own half, but more than likely, the opposition will try to play the ball overtop of our back 3. If that is the case, the back 3 have to be aware and drop when it is necessary.
If the pressure is set by the left striker, then the right striker is to drop inside and press the other attacking midfielder.
All of our central players should be inside a 30x30 square as represented by the red lines in the animation
When we regain possesion, it is vital that we make quick and decisive passes into forward areas, as that is where the space will be
