DPL - Kick-OFF / Pre-season Defending Session

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Players attempt to score by playing through a gate to oposition waiting to join.
If players get scored on, new players bring the ball on and the attacking team now defends.
If ball goes out of bounds or misses the target, then the apropriate team receaives a new ball from their teammates on the endline.
Play continues between two groups until a goal is scored or until too much time has elapsed and coaches deem it time to change players.

3 Defenders Rondo
Defensive Focus (3 Player Rondo)
Players in the middle work together to force play, Keep play in front, and win the ball before connecting 2-3 passes to switch out. The 3 defenders switch with the player that lost possession / made the mistake and the player to their right and left both.
Idea is to possess and move the defenders to open up gaps and split/play behind. Defensive group should look to keep the ball in one area (pocket of pressure) and dictate when to press together and when to hold (deny penetration) behind.
