Main Topic
Session Aim is to understand the difference between in an in-swinging and an out-swinging cross.
How to does the trajectary of the ball change ?
How does this affect your starting position ?
Players take turns crossing the ball into the box creating both in-swinging and an out-swinging crosses
Goalkeeper must decide whether to catch/punch or recover into their goal.
If they decide to recover into the goal player 2 will serve a bouncing ball to replicate a headed shot.
If they catch the ball it must be distributed into either goal using a range os suitable distibution
Coaching Points
Technical points as previously discussed
Tactical points in relation to the cross
Left foot - left side = out-swinger
Right foot - left side = in-swingers
Outswinger = higher starting position, balls to back post
Inswinger = Possible shot, create space to jump, pinned by forwards
