Activity1- I can do this ! (10 mins)
Organization: Each player will gather around the coach with their soccer in ready position to listen to instructions- I can do this !
Instructions: Coach will introduce dribbling and other basic skills in a fun a challenging manner by playing this game called I can do this !
I can do this !! can you guys do it ?? introduce dribbling with pinky toe or inside of the foot. I can do this "dribble to one of the four nets " score a goal now can you guys do it !! retrieve the balls from the net and dribble. Dribble to one of the cones in each corner (Color code them) at each cone you will practice a simple but challenging skill.
- Toe touches
- roll the ball
- side to side
- toss the ball and catch it
- big jump over the ball !

- follow instructions
- keep the ball close to feet
- do not kick the ball - Control it
- stay inside the soccer field

Activity 2 - Cookie monster (10 mins)
Organization: Coach will have one pug goal to move around with it. That will be the cookie monster. The players will have a soccer ball each and that will be the cookie their job will be to feed the cookie monster (score goals).
Instructions: Coach will be moving the pug goals afer players score goals, keep moving within the field to challenge players to dribble and score goals. Use your creativity to make it fun for your players. The cookie monster wants more cookies !! get more cookies !! keep moving and keep getting cookies. After a few minutes you can challenge the players to get at least 3 or 5 goals whithin a time frame. Feed the cookie monster !!
Coaching Points:
- keep the ball under control - dont loose your cookie !
- Score many goals ! - give cookies !
- stay within the soccer field
- move around looking up to find the cookie monster !
Progressions:
- add more pug goals
- move faster
- you can block the net when cookie monster is full !

Activity 3 - Red Light - Green light game (10 mins)
Organization: All players must have a soccer ball and be facing the coach. Ready position (one foot on the ball)
Instructions: Very similar to I can do this game. GREEN LIGHT= Players will dribble the ball making small touches, you dont want to hurt your friend the soccer ball. Pay attetion and coach says RED LIGHT : players will stop right away ! when stopping for a red light the coach will introduce a skill practice previously. After a few RED LIGHTS. Players will be able to score.
Coaching Points: at RED LIGHT
- Touch touches
- roll the ball
- foundations
- jump over the ball
- toss the ball and catch
Progressions:
- Introduce more skills
- Challenge player to perform skills faster
- stop right away at red light

Organization: make 2 teams to play 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2
Instructions:
- play number game
- try to keep it balance and place them ccording to skill levels
- allow all players to score

Warm up - Banana tag (10 mins)
Organization: All children will line up at the end line facing the coach. Children will be listening to instructions and will be ready to play. Is time to play the super fun Banana tag !
Instructions: Banana Tag. Based on the amount of players, you can use half of the field, 3/4 or the entire field. We will have 2 players that will be the taggers, they will hold color pinnies on their hand to diffrenciate from the runners. If players get tag they will turn into a banana by shaping their body like a banana. They will bring their hands up together and and make a banana shape. Teammates will help the bananas to unfrezze by pealing the banana (separating their hands) and that way they can run again and keep the game going. RUN AWAY DONT LET THE BANANA TAGGERS GET YOU !
