Playing balls out of the air (15 min) Switch each minute
Inside players cannot leave cone circle (Forces serving players to play long/high balls). Start with headers, progress to chest, thigh and feet.
CP: Hit headers with force. Focus on technique. Body behid the ball.

Switch Off Shooting (15 min)
Players dribble to the cones and set their ball, then switch off with the other player and strike their ball. Players to follow thier shots by sprinting to the green cone after each shot.
Variation 1: Coaches serve a second ball for each shooter to finish near the green cone as a follow up shot.
Coaching Points: Angle of approach, head down/over the ball, land on shooting foot

Angle of Support Small Sided Game (15 min)
4 vs 4 + 2 with 4 neutral targets, 4 attacking players try to keep possession against 4 defenders with the help of 2 neutral players and 4 targets, Team scores a point for 7 consecutive passes without losing possession or by connecting one pass to each neutral target players, Play 3 x 4 minute games rotating neutrals and target players each round
Variation - Team scores a point by passing to any of the 4 target players who then return it to the attacking team with 3 or less touches
COACHING POINTS Passing and receiving technique, Movement off the ball (proper angles of support), Early support (before the player is under pressure), Composure on the ball
Awareness by players off the ball (proper spacing), Communication by all

4 v 4 w/2 neutrals. switch ea two min or two goal. Restrictions: 5 touches before shooting
