Split the group into 2 teams. Red team line up behind red cone, blue line up behind blue cone.
Red players dribble the ball around the red cone, and shoot across goal, then get ready to defend. Blue players run with the ball around the blue cone, and try and score. Swap sides once the player have had their go.
Are players:
dribbling, keeping the ball close (red)
taking the ball around the cone, and striking across the goal (red)
closing the gap down between blue and red? (red)
decelerating before reaching the blue player? (red)
taking less touches, running with the ball (blue)
making a decision to take an early shot, or take on the defender? (blue).
Adaptions:
2 blue players attack, creating an overload.

Create a small sided game, with a 7v5.
The 7 start with the ball from the keeper and try to score, if the reds get the ball and make 3 passes or get the ball to the coach, they score a goal.
Switch players from teams often to ensure all have the opportunity to play in both teams.
Work on shape in and out of possession (blue).
In possession make the pitch big, out of possession make the pitch narrow.

Put players in pairs, opposite eachother.Blue Player dribbles, then passes to the red player. Red player receives the pass and dribbles the ball around the blue cone, and back, then passes the ball to the red player who repeats the drill.
Are players:
dribbling using all parts of the foot?
passing with the side of their foot?
looking up while dribbling?
calling for the ball?
controlling the ball effectively (inside of the foot)?
on their toes to receive the ball?
Adaptions:
Players play a 1-2 before dribbling the ball
Add a cone in the middle that players use as a defender
