Start on back post, run to front post and touch post. When participant touches post, coach kick ball. Player then makes a J run to claim cross. After claiming cross, player runs to top of box and distributes ball *** can start bowling or overhead throw, progress to kicking and punting.
Technique Tips
- Throwing will not be like a shot put or a baseball. Can be over the top or side on
- Only one knee should go up when claiming ball for protection!!!

Low Dive Technique
Starting on the post, shuffle to other post. Touch post. Choose footwork to weave through cones. Participant must always face shooter while completing footwork. When Participant hits the last cone, coach strikes ball for player to dive on.
Technique Tips
- player should dive forward not backwards *i.e first step into dive needs to be forward
- Hands should be together, making a W
- Top leg should be bent at the knee to allow for propulsion back to standing
- should never use hands to help get up
- body behind the ball
- if needing to stretch further, should be bottom hand stretching forward not top
