Explanation: PoP - playing out from the back against a 4312. Ball starts with the GK who plays it out to the 6. Rotation 1 - GK>6>CB>FB>WINGER>8>9>Shot. Rotation 2 - GK>6>CB>WINGER>8>FB>9>Shot. Pass and follow your pass. Left sided players play on the left, right on the right.
Size: Our half
Timing: 2 Min rotations per set x 3 sets.
Team Task: Can you play through the opposition press as quickly as you can.
Key Points: Starting points / distances of movement away and into spaces to receive the ball / Body shape to progress through the zones / Penetration runs and staying onside / quality of delivery and finishing /

Explanation: 8v8 + Joker + GK. Possession practise that focus on changing the point of attack. Ball starts with the GK in Possession. GK is free zone. Teams must try to score either in the two mini goals or by hitting the GK who acts as a 9.
Size: 50 Deep x 60 wide.
Timing: 3 x 3 Mins
Team Task: Can the team in possession change the point of attack.. Def team can you win the ball and transition quickly to att and score whilst team is not organised. Att team that loses possession, can you rwact and be vigilant in stopping the counter attack.

Explanation: 11v11 - 4132 In Def - (1) Playing out from the back. Ball starts with the GK who plays it out to any member of there team and can they score in the oppositions goal. If the red team win the ball can they transition quickly to create a goal scoring opportunity. Blue team must transition to def. If the ball goes out, can we restart as quickly as possible.
Size: 60 wide x 80 long
Timing: 2x8 Mins
Team Task: Play out through the high press in our half vs Att 4231. Challenges (1) Att - Overload wide area using full backs / Switching quickly. Wide to full backs / look to play through lines into Mid or Striker. Def - Close central and press out wide.
Key Points: Angles and support / distances to move and create space / timing and where to move / when to maintain possession, penetrate, switch. Can our mid 3 disorganise the opposition to get on the ball facing forward. Can our players create depth and width to make the pitch as large as possible. Can our def take space and drive in. Can we shift, change the point of attack fast to maximise space.
