The game:
6v2 in one box - once 2 blues win the ball, they look to pass out of the circle to their blue teammates who are in the other box
Two reds will sprint into the blue half to win the ball and the game continues - 5 passes = 1 point, first to 3 points?
Considerations:
Numbers of players per team and space should be adapted to ability level and participants available
Eg, play 5v3 instead of 6v2 if the defending team are struggling?
Focus:
When the team WIN the ball, how quick do they look for a forwards pass to their teammates?
When the team LOSE the ball, how fast are they to apply pressure onto the other team to force mistakes?

The game:
8v4 (can adapt numbers)
Blues to keep the ball for as long as possible (5 passes = 1 point)
Reds to win the ball and score into any goal - replicating winning the ball and passing out of pressure to a teammate
Focus:
Do the reds work as a team to win the ball or as individuals - Communication skills? Tactical ownership - do players take lead?

The game:
3 teams pass the ball between their own teams (3 balls needed, 1 per team)
When the coach shouts a colour, that team must score into one of the goals whilst the other two teams defend to stop them
Eg, "red" = reds score, yellow + blue defend
Focus:
Deny principle and quick closing down of player in-possession
8v4 overload for defenders - should be minimal goals scored
Coaches timing of colour shout is very important - try and shout when the ball is central and/or there is a good opportunity to defend
