Overview:15x25 yard space broken into two grids. Each grid is 15Lx10W with two cone goals in the middle. Make sure enough balls for half of the group. Defenders start in between cone goals and attackers start 10 yards away. Play starts when attacker goes and defender needs to react. Players get one point for running through the gate and 1 point for tagging player. Play 2x3 minute rounds without ball. Add ball where attackers now have to dribble through one of the two gates. Play 3x3 minute rounds with attacking player gaining a point by dribbling thru gate and defender a point by winning the ball.

- Angle of defender helps make decision
- Drive at defender keep both options open
- Change of speed and Body Feints
- Can you drive at one gate to draw defender and change direction to score on the other gate?
- Who can do it more than once

Session Organization:
Teams 1v1 & 2v2 in a 10x10 box with goals 5 yards outside of box. Have two fields going on simultaneously with 6-8 players per field. Players must receive and move into green zone through gate (white cones) and then can only score outside of this zone. If defending team win ball back they counter attack to opposite goal. Continuous play. 1v1 attacker may choose to score in any goal and can change direction at any time.. The 2v2 attackers must score in the opposite goal of where the 1v1 attack ended.
COACHING POINTS:
1v1's
- Meet the ball early.
- Good first touch to attack the defender.
- Execute skills to beat defender with change of speed and body feint.
- Move quickly to exploit space
- Movement to support and after pass in 2v2
Progression:
In 1v1 set a time for a goal to be scored.
In 2v2, reduce the number of touches to improve the combinations.

Session Organisation:
From 4v4 to 8v8. Make three teams with one team resting. Team play trying to score in opposite goal. Only 1 defender allowed in own scoring zone.
Unlimited touches except 1 touch finish in scoring zone.
3 minutes play, 1 minute rest. Rotate teams each round X5 rounds.
Coaching Points:
- Move the ball forward quickly.
- Runs in support of player on the ball.
- When to run the ball, when to pass.
- Accuracy of pass.
- Weight of pass.
- Timing of pass.
Progression:
Go to 3 touch max outside of scoring zone
Go to 2 touch max outside of scoring zone
Change size of scoring zone

Overview: In a 15x15 grid, with 12 players -half players have a soccer ball in the middle of grid and players spread out on outside without a ball. For groups over 12, expand the grid to 20x20 for groups of 16 and 25x25 for groups over 20. Players will progress through rounds below for outlined for 90 seconds with a designated stretch after each round. Make sure to demonstrate each move and can replace what is listed below based on preference.
