PURPOSE:
1st Progression - Start with the inside players uncovering to the left of the cone (defender) at the corner of the square. Outside players pass to their inside partners. Inside players open their body to receive the ball moving away from the defender. Inside player uses their right foot (back foot) to control the ball inside of the box. Inside player moves diagonally towards opposite corner, head up to avoid collision with teammates, and passes to the outside player. Inside player then repeats the drill in the new position. Run drill for two minutes then reverse the drill for another two minutes. After inside players have used both feet to control and pass, switch inside and outside players. 10 Minute drill

The partners opposite them in the square will wait for them to receive the ball inside of the square. Two outside players pass to their inside partners. Inside players open their body to receive the ball moving away from the defender. Their partners inside of the square move away from the center cone (defender) to uncover from their defender. Receiving inside players use their right foot (back foot) to control the ball inside of the box. Receiving inside player passes diagonally towards their partner opposite them. Receiving partner one-time passes the ball to outside player who has uncovered from their defender. Repeat the drill. Run drill for three minutes then have the players rotate (Outside --> Inside Receiver; Inside Receiver --> Diagonal Partner). 10 Minute drill

Uncovering Around Defender - R/L (10 mins)
PURPOSE:
This drill is meant to focus on ball control. Need 8 players with 4 inside the box and 4 outside the box passing the ball to their partners. Start with the inside players uncovering to the left of the cone (defender) at the corner of the square. Outside players pass to their partners left foot. Inside players trap/take a touch with the left foot to push the ball to the right foot around the cone. Inside player uses their right foot to pass the ball back to their partners outside of the box. Run drill for two minutes then reverse the drill for another two minutes. After inside players have used both feet to control and pass, switch inside and outside players. 10 Minute drill
