equipment -20 Cones (red), 18 Bibs (9 yellow, 9 Blue), 2 Goals, 1 mini goal/ crash pad, 1 Rebound Net, 9 Handballs
client group - 18 Late Teens Early Twenties, new to Handball.

jump into the air using your arms to gain more height
release ball at the highest point of jump
arm pointing straight for the follow through

have everyone line up behind one cone (if large numbers on the day split into 2 lines)
everyone having a ball (if possible)
Coaching Points
Remember 2 step run-up before jumping
aim to miss the wall but be on target
ensure arm points to the intended target to ensure consistency
Progressions / Adaptations
.add in a pass against a rebound net and receive before the shot.
remove the wall and have passive defender

standard game of handball, however every goal scored with a jump shot classes as 2 points
Coaching Points
•Outfield players can touch the ball with any part of their body that is above the knee.
•Once a player receives possession, they can pass, hold possession or shoot.
•If a player holds possession, they can dribble or take three steps for up to three seconds without dribbling.
•Only the goalkeeper is allowed to hold the ball in the goal area
•Goalkeepers are allowed out of the goal area but must not retain possession if they are outside the goal area.

have the players walk slowly taking in deep breaths,
first stretchs are the cross body arm stretch and the sitting groin stretch,
have them lie on the floor and close there eyes focusing on there breathing and have them count to a minute and get them to sit up when they think a minute has been reached.
