- Aim to develop a solid aerobic foundation and prepare the body for the different speeds that occur during a game
- The runs can be completed in groups or as an individual
- emphasis should be made during the middle section of the run - 10/10 RPE
- This can be adapted by changing the speeds or by using a ball during specific sections

Describtion:- Area dimensions: 30x20m

- Team in possession looks to maintain possession in one half of the pitch. A point is granted for every time that the team completes 7 consecutive passes
- Team out of possession presses with 3 players (they can switch those players out at any point whilst pressing). They look to win the ball back via intercepting a pass and then passing the ball to one of the two teammates in the other half of the pitch, followed by all 3 pressing players moving over there to become the in possession team; or via forcing the opponents into making a mistake (passing the ball out of bounds) and receiving a new ball from the coach to become the in possession team
Progression:
- Team in possession earns a point for 7 consecutive passes completed in one half. After that they look to transfer into the other half of the pitch, with the ball. If they transfer from inbetween the two mannequins then they earn 2 additional points for the transfer, if from either side of them then 1 additional point.
