The One Two possession game
Example 4 vs 4 plus 1 magic player.
1)Keep possession from other team use magic player.
2)If you complete a 1/2 on opposition player they are out of the game and stand on edge of possession box.
3)If you get 2 players out (2 touch) 3 players out (1 touch)
4)Players can return to area if their team win possession and pass to them on the outside succesfully.
5)1 st team to get all players out wins or play for 3 min max team with most players on pitch wins.
Connect 4
2 teams. Connect 4 grid set out as in picture. Teams race player at a time to place a bib or cone into a square. They must not hit cones with feet. First team to connect 4 wins.
If teams dont connect 4 players can then run out 1 at a time and make 1 swap.
You can add a ball or obstacles.

Head, Catch 1 & 2
1 coach working with 3 -6 players
Coach feeds ball and shouts following instructions.
Head- player must catch
Catch-player heads ball back
1-player catches ball
2-player heads ball
Traffic Lights
Players work in designated area.
Coach uses following instructions;
Red- Stop still
Amber- sit on ball
Green- Dribble
Lamp post- Stand on ball with hands up high
Zebra crossing- Lay on ball
Reverse- Move backwards with ball
Roundabout- Ronaldo stepovers
Swerve- change direction
Shout numbers ie 1, 2 , 3 , 4 players dribble and join other player to make the number coach shouts out
Ambulance- Clear road and get to sides of pitch
Drive- Park in designated area
Competition- Anyone to slow is banned from driving and must do 3-5 kep ups to return to game.

Truck and trailer
Player 1 is truck and player 2 trailer.
Both players have a ball. The truck tries to loose the trailer by changing speed, direction and using feints/skills. Trailer tries to stay as close as possible.
Give players a go at both. Then match up players of similar ability and repeat.
Progress by getting truck and trailer to share a ball and keep away from the barrons trying to stel their load. (Defenders)
Grandma's Footsteps
Players dribble ball trying to be the first to get to the opposite side. If grandma turns and see 'syou moving then you go to the beginning. Only dribble when Grandma is not looking. If you get over half way then you go back to half way if caught not to the start.

Cat's and Mice
Red players are Cat's (Defenders in middle of pitch)
Yellow players are mice in corners(Attackers)
When coach says go players try to dribble to another corner without getting tackled. If they get tackled they become a mouse.
Coach could ask mice to get to two corners, 3 corners or all way round in one go.
Bull dog with ball
Players in blue must get past yellow defenders without getting tackled. Safe zone marked out opposite end of pitch. If you get tackled you are on.

Squirrels and Nuts
2 teams. Balls in safe areas shaded above. 8 each team. Players cross half way line and collect a ball. If they get tackled on way back they go into that teams prison (Red triangle). Once over half way line with ball you are safe.
Team with most Nuts (Balls) safe in their nests wins. Max 2 mins per game.

King of the ring
Adjust numbers based accordingly using STEPP. Above example 6 red with ball each, 3 yellow defenders.
1)Look after your ball avoiding yellows and not going out of the ring.
2)If you get knocked out you come back in, not as defender but as an attacker helping others to look after the ball.
3)Defenders turn ends when they get all balls out.
Wall pass game
Working in groups of 3
2 vs 1. Player in the middle just holds bib to allow for quick change overs. Adjust are size accoring to ability and age of players.
Players must keep ball away from middle man. They are awarded a point if they can complete a wall pass with partner. If the player in the middle gets the slightest touch you are in.
