Compactness (15 min)
4v5 inside the attacking third. Ball starts with coach. Green attacking team must connect three passes before shooting (Don't let defenders know of touch restriction). Orange defenisve line must work to stay compact and prevent penetration through pressure, cover & balance. Encourage Green to shoot when given space. Offside rule used
Coaching Points: Communication: #4 to right side & #5 to left side. Move as a unit. Keep a open body shap to see the ball, your mark & the defensive line, closest to the ball pressure, cover/balance, push up when pressure on the ball, drop back line when no pressure on the ball

Expanded Sm Sided Game (15 min)
8 v 9. Blue attacking team must connect 5 passes before shooting. Orange team can score on sm counter goals.
Coaching Points: Angle pressure approach toward cover player. Defend patiently as a group. Take pressure angles to be in a shot blocking position. Be brave.

Set Up: 4 teams of three players, 9 balls, 24 cones, 2 different players, 3 sets of pennys
Play: Stare w/o balls. The teams in the box use pennys as flags hanging at waistline. Each player must change to the square on the opposite end while the defending players in the middle work to take pennys from box players and retrun to the original squres so that the box player is eliminated. The first team eleminated will take the defensive possition.
Variation 1: No more than one player per team per square.
Variation 2: Three players maxium per square. Keep the Game Active & High Intensity for 3-4 minutes, rest 30 seconds.
Progression: Replace pennys with balls for the box players to dribble to the square on the opposite end
