Animation 1 (20 mins)

Description: Passing around mannequin, two players start 5-10 yards away on either side, one player starts at mannequin. Different passing combinations around mannequin

Coaching Points: Weight of pass, Body positioning to receive, Lay-offs

Progressions:

1. Player checks off mannequin, receives and plays to the other side

2. Player checks off mannequin, lays off first player who then plays to the other side (Up, back, through)

3. Player checks off mannequin, receives plays one-two with first player around mannequin.

Animation 2 (20 mins)

Description: Two teams, First team will have one player at top of box and one player next to goal, Second team will have one player start in goal and one player at the top of box on the other side. First team will pass to player at the top who will cut inside across mannequin and finish, after shooting they will run to become goalkeeper. The second team will then pass the ball and shoot, shooter will become goalie.

Coaching Points: Shooting technique

Progressions:

1. Can play as individuals instead of teams, only play on one side at a time, keep track of individual goals

2. Add skill move to go around mannequin

3. Can have a set keeper

4. Make it two shots in a row, one at the top then a one touch finish from a cutback into the penalty area

Animation 3 (20 mins)

Description: 2 Players start at the top of the box, 2 players are servers one at the corner of 6 yard box and endline, one at the side of 18 yard box. Two players at the top will peel off the top of the box and one will go front post, one goes back post, first ball will be a cut-back for a one touch finish. They will then reset by running around the cone at the top of the 18, switching sides, and then receive a cross from the second server.

Coaching Points: Staying over the ball on one touch finishes, Weight of pass for crosses, Timing your runs

Progressions:

1. Cross can be in the air or on the ground

2. Cut-back and cross could be from opposite sides

Animation 4 (20 mins)

Description: One server, one player at top of box. Server will play a pass to the top of the box, player must shoot first touch from outside the box. After shooting, player will continue running in for a one time finish inside the box.
