ORGANIZATION:
Set up two, 16yrd x10yrd Grids next to eachother, with 6 players in each grid. Activity to be done side by side. Assign 2 per each station (a,b & c). Have a selection of balls at station A for use during activity. Set up one goal next to station B and two 2yrd gates at the opposite end, one red and one blue. Have pinnies at station B for use by defenders.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Player A (server) , passes to Player B (target). Player B proceed to dribble th ball to try and score in the Blue goal. Player C (defender) must prevent Player B from scoring in blue gate. Goal is scored when attacker dribbles thru gate. If defender wins ball they can score in the net at the opposite end. Defender cannot leave their spot until ball is recieved by attacker. Attacker must not move until they ball reaches them from the server. Switch stations after 3-4 minutes.
Progression:
1-Attacker can score in either blue or red goal
2-Defender can move as soon as ball from server is released
3- Attacker can attack the ball when recieving.

Patience - dont dive in unless attacker takes a poor touch. Go after only a winnable ball

Organization:
1/2 field. Big goal + 2 small counter goals placed 5 yards outside of center circle on either side.
Instruction:
Ball starts with a goalkick. The Pressing team must organize defensively based on coaching tactics. The build up team can only score in the goal on the opposite side the goalkeeper passes the ball to. Therefore they must switch it to score. If pressing team wins the ball they can counter attack and score. They have 5 seconds.
Variations: Have the pressing team start with the ball and they have 5 seconds to score. (2) Have midfielder on build-up team start with the ball but they have to go back to goalkeeper first.
Coaching Points:
1. Force the play to the outside
2. Find the free player
3. If the pressure is broken recover behind the ball at speed.

Organization:
Set up as shown. 3 teams of 4. Lots of balls
Instructions:
Red and Yellow team play together against blue team. Blue team cannot leave their area shown. The Red team must pass the ball around to try and create a gap / space to get the ball through to the Yellow team. The Blue team must cover and slide across to close all gaps and stop any through balls.
If the defending team get possession of the ball they pass it to the team who did not give it away and change places with thet team that gave them the ball.
Coaching Points:
Cover and balance. Good shape to the defending team. Avoid getting opened up. Stay close together but not too close where the ball can go down the outside.
Progressions:
Allow defender to enter into Red or Yellow area on 5+ passes.

ORGANIZATION:
50 x 60yd (Halfway Line) Playing Area. 7v7. Include Goalkeepers. Use different formations for each team. White - 1-2-3-1, and Black - 1-3-2-1. Place extra balls on outside of grid for easy access
One team wears white bibs, opposing team wears black bibs. GK for White wears a Red Bib, and GK for Black wears a Green Bib. Set up 2 goals at each end as the targets.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Try to score more goals than the opposing team in the alotted game time. Any ball out of play restarts with a kick in. No Offsides. Balls out of play at the end lines, will restart will the GK playing it in.
COACHING POINTS:
Freeplay. Encourage teams to keep shape and consolidate the coaching points from throughout the session.
