Activity Description:

• Progressive position defensive exercise, automatisms with no ball, according the opposing player with the possession of the ball, players 1,2,3,4. (Compressed, pressing, open wide) and how to clear a ball in a appropriate way.

Activity Rules & Scoring:

• Player in red make the defensive movements without the ball according the possession of the ball of the blue players (1,2,3,4) and the indications of the coach (Pressing, Wide, Compress) . Pressing and closing spaces defensively as a team. 

Progressions:

• Blue players make services through the air and if the red team let the ball bounce, have a penalty (5 push ups). Coach with lead voice, stop the game if necessary to adjust the pieces and players body positioning and clearing technique.
• Goalkeeper of the red team with the possession of the ball make a goal kick and 4 players of the blue team try to steal the ball. Red team scores if keep the possession of the ball making 10 passes between the team mates (1 minute or 40 seconds to achieve it) blue team wins if not, penalty of 5 push ups.)

Key Coaching Points:

• Influence the correction of the player's body posture when defending and clearing a ball.
• Correct the attacking and defensive positions with and without the ball of the athletes.
