Organization:
1. Penalty area
2. 12 players (7 A ttackers,4 Defenders,1 Goalkeeper)
3. 1 ball( Additional around the outside)
Instructions:
1. Defending players starts the activity with a diagonal pass to an attacking player between the markers
2. Defender then applies pressure
3. The two attackers attempt to beat the defender to score on goal with either a dribble or combination
4. If the defending player wins the ball they attempt to pass between the starting markers
5. The process is then repeated with a pass that should be made from the next defender in line at the opposite side of the goal
6. Rotate players after set time interval
Coaching Points:
1. 1st attacker to commit defender to the ball
2. 2nd attacker to offer support for combination either to the side or behind
3. 1st attacker uses 2nd attacker to combine or as a decoy
4. Play at speed
Progressions:
P – Limit attacker’s to limited touches(3 or 4)
R – Increase the distance players have to combine in by starting 10 yards further back

Organization:
1. 30 x 20 yard area setup as show n
2. 4 players (1 Attacker,1 Defender, 2 Plus One’s)
3. 1 ball (Additionalaround the outside)
Instructions:
1. Attacker starts with the ball by dribbling into the field from behind their goal
2. Plus-ones for each team are only permitted to stay within the attacking half of the field
3. Plus-ones are not permitted to tackle or score
4. Attacker must attempt to score in the goal
5. The attacker has the option of using the plus-one to combine if they choose
6. If the ball leaves the area the game restarts with the opposition’s attacker from behind the goal
7. If defending team wins the ball they attack the opposite goal
8. Plus-ones can be tackled if defending player chooses to defend them
9. Rotate players after set time intervals
Coaching Points:
1. Engage the defender high up the field to create space behind
2. Combine with plus-one using wallpass or overlap
3. Use plus-one as a decoy at times - fake and dribble
Progressions:
1. P – Add goalkeepers
2. R – Allow plus-ones to m oveany where inside the area
3. R- Take away Keepers

1. 40 x 25 yard area
2. 12 players (2 Teams of 5 with 2 Resting)
3. 1 ball(Additional around the outside)
Instructions:
1. Teams play 2v2 in each half of the field as they attempt to score in their opponent’s goal
2. Defending players are permitted to follow their pass to create a 3v2 situation
3. Only the player that makes the forward pass is permitted to join the attacking players
4. If the ball is lost or a goali s scored the defending player must return to their own half of the field
5. If the ball leaves the area normal restart rules apply (throw-ins, corners and goal kicks)
6. Rotate players after a set time
Coaching Points:
1. 2nd attacker to offer support for combination either in front ,to the side,or behind
2. Angle and distance of 2nd attacker
3. Decision making of each player
4. Combination selection
5. Timing of combination
6. Play at speed
Progressions:
1. P – Remove restrictions and play 4v4
2. R – Play 3v2 in each defensive half to improve team s options to play out from the back
