Organization:
1.10 x 20 yard area set up as shown
2.4 players (1 Attacker, 1 Defender)
3.2 balls
Instructions:
1.Objective is to dribble the ball through the goals at your opponents end.
2.Both players begin on their own end line, ball is passed to attacker by defender, both players become active
3.If the defender wins the ball then they can attack their opponent’s goals
Coaching Points:
1.Dribble at speed, keeping the ball close
2.Observing positions of other players
3.Accelerate after passing the defender
Progressions:
P – Defender becomes live directly after initial pass
R – Defender is passive, acts as an obstacle, rather than opponent

Organization:
1.30 x 44 yard area set up as shown
2.12 players (5 Attackers, 3 Defenders,1 Goalkeeper, 2 Targets,1 Server) set up as shown

Instructions:
1.Server starts the game by playing to any of the attackers who then attempt to score
2.Defenders attempt to win the ball and score by playing to either of the counter targets
3.Attackers can only go forward by dribbling and are only allowed to pass sideways or backwards
4.If the ball leaves the field or a forward pass is played the game is restarted form the server
5.Play for a set time limit or number of balls, then rotate players
Coaching Points:
1.Controlled approach
2.Engage defender at speed by attacking front foot
3.Cut into the space behind defender
Progressions:
P – Play 5 v 4 to increase traffic and reduce the space to play in
P – Shots may only be taken from inside the penalty area
R – Attacking team is allowed to pass forward

2.12 players (4 teams of 4, 1 team resting) set up as shown

Instructions:
1.Each player is assigned a letter, A, B, C or D
2.Opposing players are paired with their opposite letter, and may only steal from this player
3.If defensive player steals from the wrong partner, a free kick is awarded
4.Goal is scored by dribbling through central goal at opposing end
5.If ball goes out, team restarts with a pass or dribble in
6.If goal is scored, conceding team restart with a dribble in from own end line
7.First team to score wins, with losing team switching with resting team
Coaching Points:
1.Body shape – low centre of gravity
2.Change of speed and direction
3.Head up accelerate away
Progressions:
P – Defensive players can steal from their nominated partner, plus one other
P – Increase to 40 x 30 yard area

Instructions:
1.All players dribble around the area
2.On coach’s call “switch”, players stop their ball from moving, and start dribbling with a new ball (see A)
3.One ball is removed every 30 seconds, leaving one more player without a ball each time
4.Players without a ball must try to steal one from another player
5.If a ball is stolen, that player must steal one from a different person
6.Play for set time period
Coaching Points:
1.using short touches
2.Head up, accelerate away
Progressions:
P – Players can steal the ball back from the person who stole it from them, immediately
R – Add in more balls than players
