Organization:
1. Set up as shown (20x12 grid - 5yd endzone)
2. Groups of 6-8 players.
3. Plenty of balls.
Instructions:
1v1 turning with back to pressure.
1. Server plays a ball in from outside, attacker (black) checks to the ball, defender follows close.
2. Attacker use a turning with back to pressure technique and dribble into endzone. I
3. if the defender wins the ball they counter find pass to server.
4. Switch roles after each play.
Coaching Points
Turning with Back to pressure
a. Recognize where pressure is as ball is approaching (check over shoulder)
b. Toes down and in (Outside)
c. Toes up (Inside)
d. Cushion on contact.
e. Take 1st touch away from pressure.
f. Turn body with 1st touch (one motion)

Organization:
1. Set up as shown (18x15yds with 5 yds endzone)
2. 6 players.
3. Plenty of balls.
Instructions:
1. 2v2 Shielding/Turning.
2. Server/target plays a ball in from outside.
3. Attackers must pass to the other target player to score.
4. If the defenders win the ball they counter to the opposite target player for a point.
5. Continue pattern by playing target to target to receive points.
6. Switch losing team with target players after 2 minutes.
Coaching Points
- Clever movement/feints to create space to receive.
- Check to the ball after checking over shoulder to scan the field.
- Use turning with back to pressure techniques.
- Passing/Combination play.

Instructions:
1. 3v3 plus tw o target players per team.
2. Teams start making as many passess as possible w hile combining w ith targets.

2. Support the 1st attacker.
3. Accuracy & Pace of pass.
Progressions:
1. Play possession game: 1 pt for combining with targets. (add two touch/one touch restrictions)

Juggling - Pre Training Activity (10 mins)
Organization:
In a 30x40 yard grid, each Player with a ball.
Instructions:
"The one Bounce Juggling Challenge": Player starts the juggle w ith 1 bounce, then takes 1 touch; then lets the ball bounce again, then takes 2 touches; then let's it bounce once again, then takes 3 touches, etc. If the player messes up the sequence, then they start again
at 1. Challenge players to set their ow n new record.
Coaching Points:
Players try to improve their touches (control and foot-eye coordination) by juggling with different surfaces of their feet.
