Session Objective:
Wingers 7 and 11 to keep wide and open as options at all of the times, secondary 9, 10, 8 to keep in mind that the play can always be switched and played wide with primary 7 and 11 and fullback 2 and 3. Right open positioning and high level availability to be present on the sides. Penetrate, support
Team Task:
Can players react immediately with screening forward, movement away from opponents, switching and positioning themselves wide to offer immediate forward
Player Tasks/Coaching Points:
-Penetrate where possible
-Support as second option with movement of the ball towards the space you want dominant
-Can players recognize possible movement in BP, explore options, press with the possession
-Can players look to find 2-3 passing options
-Can the closest player to receive the ball and can the player take first touch to wide area
-Play early balls through and release before getting to BPO
