Small sided game with even numbers per team on the inside. Each team will also have 2 players outside the field of play. At any point those players can be played in.
Progressions:
- Outside players have 2 touches to get the ball back inside
- Outside players are now live, once they receive the ball they can dribble the ball inside and join the play (if you passed the ball outside you are now taking their place)
Coaching Points:
- If you are inside, make sure you are not on the same passing line as one of the outside players
- Can we play our highest player as soon as possible

Warm-Up (30 mins)
Start with dynamic stretching to activate the muscles - 15 minutes.
Organization:
After the dynamic warm-up players will be divided into two even teams. The playing area will be 30x30 yards, with four even squares inside (15x15yards each). There will be 3 players from each team on the inside of the big square and 4 players from each team on the outside. The outside players will alternate teams per square so that no two players on the same team are beside each other. While in the middle, if your team has possession of the ball no two players can be inside the same square at once, they must spread themselves out so that one player occupies a square. If you are the defending team there is no restrictions to movement, they can go anywhere. If the defending team wins the ball, play continues the roles just switch and they must spread out. Outside players are used as support but only have 2 touches to get the ball back inside. The outside players are not stationary, they can move across the width of the box they are on. If the ball ever leaves the playing area, the coach will pass a new ball into play. Each round will last a few minutes, after each round players from the inside and outside can switch.
Progression:
1) No touch restrictions
2) Minimize the amount of touches on the inside (touch limit can be reduced based on quality of players
3) Open the field up, no more zone restrictions for the inside players
Coaching Points:
- Play on different passing lines as your teammates
- Open body shape especially for the outside players
- Rotation and awareness of the inside players
