Clipping FB's/Breaking a line - 6 balls p/set 3 working sets each.

Ball starts with me centrally, pass to the GK who will take a positive first touch and then clip the ball to the FB area - Could use mini goals if needed but adds realism and also everyone is working as they are controlling the ball.

Manequinns in so theres some realism to receiving under pressure - like in the warm up touch to the side to set up the clip.

Positioning - Front foot, on toes Technical - Push the ball away with one foot, play the pass with the other Decision - What type of pass is needed? Punch, Clip, Drive?

Coaching Points:

- Distance on the set to play the pass

- Body position when receiving the ball

- Body position when kicking the ball - Forward/Backward?

- Pass choice? Why did you choose that pass

Recieving player is looking to control the ball with their chest
