Time: 20 Minutes
Organisation:
-40x20 grids.
-Players split into even teams.
-2 teams in each grid with two of each team on the outside.
Exercise:
-Red serves ball into red inside the grid.
-Red aim to pass the ball and get it to their red on the other side.
-If they are succesful that person comes inside the grid and the player who played the pass moves outside.
-The red team then aim to get the ball to the other red player on the other side.
-If blue win possession they in turn attempt to get the ball to their plar.
-Players on the outside do compete v each other.
-Count the amount of scoring plays to the outside.
-Play 5 minute spells then switch with other groups.
Key Points:
-Movement into the spaces to receive the ball.
-Pace of the passes to each other.
-How fast and progressive the passing is.

Time: 30-40 Minutes
Organisation:
-Half pith across the full width of the 3G
-Split players into teams of 9.
Exercise:
Play 3 game preiods of 15 minutes using normal football rules.
Key Points:
-Appl the key points of the drills to the games linking to the positional play in game formation.

Exercise 1 (10 mins)
Time: 10 Minutes
Organsiation:
-Set up a grid of 20x10 with 4 stations.
-Split players into groups of 5 with one on each station and 2 at 1.
Exercise:
-Players play passes in number order.
-After each run player must follow pass to next station.
-Once ball gets back to 4 it goes then back to 1.
-Operate for 5 minutes then switch play to opposite direction. (4-3-2-1-4).
Key Points:
-Movement off the cones to receive the pass.
-The pace the pass in both the short and longones.
-The jog into the next station after following the pass.
