In Possession Team (Red)

  • Keep possesion for 10 passes. After 10 passess you can score in big goal.
  • Whilst in possession you can use GK to retain possession
  • If you lose possession to blue team, you must counter press immediately to win the ball back and prevent blue team from scoring
  • 3 touch max - tight space so must be quick in moving the ball
Out Of Possession Team (Blue)
  • High intensity to force an error. Can we identify right time to try win the ball
  • Press as a unit and stay compact.
  • Recover into shape after pressing
  • If you win the ball, you can score in any of the 4 goals (big goal with a GK or 3 smaller goals marked by cones).
  • Quick decision as to what goal to score in as red team will counter press

Reds defend big goal and try play out to mini goals

Blues defend mini goals and score in big goal

5v5 with 2 magic men playing wide. Gk in big goal

 

In Possession

  • Move the ball quickly to find gaps (3 touch max)
  • If opposition are blocking one side, can we switch play quickly to find space
  • When you lose possession can we quickly get back into defensive shape
Out of Possession
  • Can we create a block (shift left to right as a unit) and force the in possession team into errors
  • Maintain shape from left to right
  • Look to press the ball as a unit to force error
  • When you gain possession can we quickly transition to securing possession to score
