Organization:Break team into even groups. Have players stand on goal line. Place cone just inside penalty box. Have player about 5 yards in front of cone facing the goal.
Instructions: Player will have to check in to ball and receive the ball in front of the cone. The player must perform the fron foot hold.
Coaching Points: Make sure player has good tempo checking in to receive the ball in front of the cone. Make sure player checks over shoulder when receiving ball. Player wil then pass ball back and return to the back of the line. Rotate after 1-2 minutes. (no pressure)
Progressions: Use both feet to perfrom front foot hold

Instructions: This time player will have defender follow him while receiving the ball. Defender is slightly shadowing player (semi pressure).
Coaching Points: Make sure player is receiving the ball in front of the cone. Good technique is always encouraged. Make sure player receiving ball is looking over shoulder, knowing where defender is.
Progressions: Player passing the ball play any foot and they have to receive it according to pass. Left and right foot.

Instructions: Both players wil start from goal line. Once player passes the ball to player outside the penalty box they are to quickly run to the cone to receive the ball using the front foot hold. As soon as the ball is passed defender can pressure (full pressure). 1 point for receiving the ball successfully. 2 points if player is able to turn and score a goal.
Coaching Points: Good quick tempo, good technique. Intensity. Looking over shoulder making sure he know what side defender is pressuring from.
Progressions: Can use wall pass with outside player.
