Players must work to create angles for QUICK play in the 2-2 box shape created on the field. Limited support is provided (wide and depth players) to assure that there isno other answer other than movement.

1. Begin with a 6v2 Rondo in tight spaces. Press the ball upon loss of possession. Establish the tone of the session with a switched on, transition mentality. The players then in possession must circulate the ball QUICKER in spaces, finding the open man.
2. Transition the session to a 2v2 in the middle plus 2v2 targets on either side. You get a point for going from target team to target team. However, you must connect the ball to two of the same color before you can score. - meaning - if I play into one target, i must collect the ball back, and either play the other target or my teammate, before transitioning the ball to the other side for a point. Coaching PRESSURE on the defending team. Intructing Opening Up off the ball and playing QUICKLY.

Progress the Game to 4v4 +2+2 same principles. You must connect two of the same colour with the ball, before you can transition for a point. Focus is on creating the ANGLES needed to play QUICKLY through the lines. Discourage STANDING. Encouraging PRESSING and demanding AWARENESS.

Begin the 6v6 game as 4v4 + 2 +2. Each team has the advantage of two players in their own half (wingbacks) to add the numerical advantage in buil-up without sacrificing Depth. Speaking of Depth, this is no offsides. Deal with it and Defend. Push the same principles as the first 3 exercises in training. Demand more Quality and Precision in passing. Allow for improper decisions (because we are making them FASTER) but DO NOT accept POOR QUALITY. Playing quick is not an excuse for poor quality, however, poor decisions can be corrected by rehearsing the situaton at a slower speed.
PROGRESS to open play for wide players (both halfs) - then allow them to enter in the attacking half
