Shot stopping and distribution (10 mins)
Set up: Throw down 20 or so disc cones a few yards in front of keeper. Shoot the ball through the cones, try to keep it on the ground. Sometimes the ball will change direction, sometimes it will go straight through. Fix cones once they get flipped over and moved around.
Key coaching points: Good ready position, on balls of feet, knees bent, quick reaction, anticipate regular shot, not possible deflection.
Adjustments: Vary speed of shots, and number of cones.
